Departure from Vilanova and arrival in Marseille
The trip starts in the morning, with a last mass at the school before getting on the bus. In Figueres, 40 liters of wine are purchased for the group, although some expect them to share it. When crossing the border, the most inexperienced are surprised by how quickly everything has happened

Marseille – Nice
After a tour of the old port of Marseille, the group sets off for Nice. One of the debates of the day revolves around whether to stop in Toulon to see the French fleet or whether it would be better to continue to Cannes. In the end, the second option wins, and they make a stop in the city to see the bay and the luxurious yachts

Nice – Milan
The journey takes them through Monaco, where the group takes the inevitable photos in front of the Monte Carlo casino. When crossing the Italian border, some are a little disappointed because the carabinieri do not put any stamps on their passports. In San Remo, they remember the famous music festival as they pass by the theater where it is held

Visit to Pirelli, Milan
The company welcomes them with a detailed explanation of the manufacture of cables and tires. The most curious are surprised by the process of vulcanizing rubber, while others pay more attention to the elegant design of the facilities

Crossing the Alps: Milan – Saint Moritz – Innsbruck
The journey through snowy mountains impresses everyone. Upon arriving in St. Moritz, the beauty of the landscape is indisputable, but the prices are also just as high. “Even the air here must cost money,” someone comments when they see the prices in the shops

The day is spent exploring the city and climbing the Hafelekar, over 2,300 meters high. Later, some are seduced by the typical Tyrolean breweries, while others choose to buy souvenirs, especially the famous Tyrolean hats

Innsbruck – Munich
When crossing the German border, the coach picks up two hitchhikers, adding an unexpected touch to the trip. Arriving in Munich, a visit to a traditional brewery is quite an event, and some do not understand how the locals can drink even more beer than they do

Munich – Stuttgart
In the morning, some arrive late for mass because the first one ended too early. The city tour includes the famous German Museum, where everyone is overwhelmed by the amount of information and technological exhibits

Visit to AEG, Stuttgart
When visiting the AEG factory, they discover that the company was destroyed during the war and rebuilt afterwards. One of the most impressive moments is seeing a blind worker working in the insulating paper cutting section

Stuttgart – Frankfurt
In Mannheim, they visit the Brown Boveri plant, where they are explained how electric generators are manufactured. The day ends with a visit to the Stuttgart television tower, from where they enjoy a spectacular view of the city.

Frankfurt – Köln: After breakfast in Frankfurt, the group moved to Cologne (Köln). There they visited the famous cathedral and had the afternoon free to tour the city
